Lewis Woodward has 34 years’ experience in the connector industry, having been Product Manager and then Regional Sales Manager for another connector specialist before establishing Connection Technologies 17 years ago. During his years as an electronics serviceman he gained an understanding of the need for well suited, high quality components in any equipment to ensure it works to maximum performance. Today, his focus is on “providing a solution” to any interconnect challenge and ensuring that Connection Technologies offers the best technical support before, during and after the purchase of any of our products.

Steve Wilson has a NZ Certificate in Communications Engineering and spent 40 years involvement in the telecommunications industry. He has worked in sales roles requiring the need to provide technical solutions in data communication and network connectivity applications. His primary focus is to assist clients with identifying the most appropriate interface device to allow the communication of both new and historical technology in an industrial environment.

Leanne Severin has a diploma in accounting and 20 years’ experience in the banking, insurance and financial markets with extensive knowledge in managing the financial affairs of a trading company like Connection Technologies. During her time in the current position she has developed a wider knowledge across all areas of the business and has stood in for others in the company, irrespective of their function.

Steve Palmer

Steve Palmer has over 30 years’ experience in the Telecommunications and AV industries having initially being trained as a PABX technician with Telecom. In Telecom he was actively involved in the building and cutting over of PABX exchanges. In the private sector he was also involved with the installation and programming of PBX’s in the SME markets. It was in this market that he got involved in the sales of PBX equipment, and eventually became Sales Manager at Ubix Communication. His knowledge of how things work and fit together go hand in glove with the range of products and custom requirements offered to customers at Connection Technologies.

Robert Jones had 10 years’ experience in the Industrial Electrical industry where he started as a store man and worked through to being a Customer service Rep. For the last 6 years he has worked in a Technical Support role handling inquiries for a wide range of electrical and electronic connectors.

His aim is to deliver high quality customer support covering our wide range of products, ensuring they get the best response in the quickest time.

Glen Fisher started his career as a Telecom Electrician working in electronic switching exchanges. The next 20 years were spent in the Office Automation Industry selling, servicing and repairing office products.

Glen strives to deliver prompt and efficient service to his customers in the Auckland Region.

Kelly performs a key role as Assistant Account Administrator within our Finance Department, delivers to the highest standards and is customer service focused.

Jim Dillon

Technician 

 
Jim Dillon commenced his career as an electronics apprentice, qualifying as a tradesman.  During the ensuing forty years he occupied a variety of positions in New Zealand and Australia, primarily focussed on telecommunication and medical electronics technologies.  Roles included both senior technical and management in corporate, Central Government and private enterprise.  

With Jim's extensive knowledge and experience, he is an important element of our bespoke assembly and kitting business.  His satisfaction is gained by providing customers with a product which meets or exceeds their expectations.
